WEB SITE COST
The cost for one of our web sites is dependent on the extent of capabilities. Our web sites are designed to be able to expand their capabilities. The cost of hosting one of our web sites is dependent on the amount of usage (bandwidth requirements). It is not easy or cheap to build and maintain a website of this magnitude.
Once built, there are the costs of a.) Up-linking/hosting/maintaining/R&D; b.) National and world news gathering and publishing to the website; c.) Local news and information gathering. Then there is the sale of advertising.
We offer many options: a.) The school pays a quoted price for the website and hosts it on their own server. b.) The school pays a quoted price and we charge a monthly fee for hosting and maintaining the site. The school maintains all the revenue from their ad sales. Payment can be made in the form of cash and/or with the allocation of a certain amount of ads for us to sell on the web site. We would keep 100% of all the revenue received from our ad sales. The school keeps 100% of the revenues from their ad sales. c.) The school pays nothing for the website, hosting and maintenance. Advertising spaces are divided between the school and us. Each party gets to keep 100% of the advertising revenue they each receive for the sale of their allotment of ads. d.) The school pays nothing for the website, hosting and maintenance. We contract the businesses, create all the ads and handle all the work. The revenue is contractually divided between the school or school system and us. School children and teachers are allowed to sell ads to family and friends if they so desire, and that revenue is also shared. e.) A combination of all the other options can be negotiated.
